Volunteer With Us

More than 1,300 volunteers give a helping hand to ease the pain and suffering for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House ever year.

We are looking for assistance with:

  • Cooking or catering meals to serve to families
  • General cleaning and organizing around the house
  • Event support
  • Done in a day projects such as landscaping and program support
  • Hosting holiday parties and activities for families
  • Weekly administrative duties and outreach

To cook or cater meal, bake a dessert, or sign up to clean you can schedule a time directly here.

We specialize in volunteer activities for individuals, groups or corporate team building activities ranging from 1-100 people!

    Ways to Help from Home

    Make toiletry kits — using a ziplock bag, create a toiletry kit for our families to use for an overnight stay. Kits should include travel sized items; a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand sanitizer and facial tissue.

    Make comfort bags — When a child is unexpectedly hospitalized, often times the families arrive with nothing but the clothes on their backs. To ensure our families are as comfortable as possible, we provide them with self-care kits, activity packs, and basic items. To create a comfort bag, view the items here and fill them in a book bag.

    Host a gift card drive — collect gift cards to grocery stores, Walmart, Target, Amazon, and more for us to distribute to our families in times of need or to purchase meals and cleaning supplies for our House.
