Volunteer Your Time
There Are Many Ways To Help
Based on information set forth by the World Health Organization (WHO) and local State Departments and Health Ministries in light of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to suspend visitors, volunteers, group meetings and tours, to ensure the safety of our families and staff members. We will continue to monitor the changing conditions related to the COVID19 and send you updates as we receive them.
In order to continue to provide meals and other needed items, we have listed a couple of ways you can help:
Items like gift cards, snacks, and cleaning products can be delivered from our Amazon Wish List.
Click on the red button below.
Consider giving a monetary donation that can be used to buy meals and other necessary items for our families. To donate, click on the blue button at the bottom of the page.
It is through your support that we can get through these difficult times and help maintain a safe and sanitary environment for the families we serve.
We very much appreciate your support and patience.
While the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio has always relied on help and support from our community, we are suspending all volunteer activities during this current health crisis, until further notice.
If you would like to help in other ways, we are still accepting donations for our pantry and supplies.
PREPARE DINNER FOR FAMILIES
Call any House to schedule a time for you or your group to prepare a meal for the families. On weekends, you may want to choose to prepare breakfast or lunch. This is a wonderful fellowship for groups and families.
Create quilts for children from birth to 21 years old.
INVITE A SPEAKER TO YOUR ORGANIZATION
If your club or group would like more information about the House, a staff member will be happy to make a presentation.
COOKIE/ PASTRY PATROLS
Schedule a time to come to any of our locations to bake a batch or two of delicious cookies or your favorite cake or pastries.
This is great for those of you who have summer gardens. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always enjoyed. Nonperishable items are also needed.
